Schools

The three advanced schools hosted in Malta by MCAST will provide young researchers and high-level technical staff training. They address topics in the field of electric mobility operations. All the participants will have the possibility to interact and share experiences and activities with high-level experts. The advanced schools are intended to be open to local and international academic and research institutions and industry around the Mediterranean in addition to partners and stakeholders.

The Third NEEMO School organised under the aegis of the NEEMO project will be held in Malta back-to-back with MEDPOWER2022, between the 9th to 12th November 2022. The School will feature 14 keynote lectures including a day session with the EIT Urban Mobility Hub Training Shifting to Electric Vehicles: Training for Corporates as well as trial runs by various brands. Travel support is available for active participation that includes submission of a full paper in MEDPOWER2022 or roles within 7-12 Nov 2022 week.

NEEMO School 2 was hosted at the Urban Valley Resort & Spa.  NEEMO School 2 featured 10 keynote lectures and an International Stakeholders’ Day on the 25th of November 2021, Exhibits and Trails by Kind’s Auto Sales Ltd. with x2 Renault ZOE and Silence Scooters. NEEMO School 1 was conducted online due to the COVID-19 travel and public gathering.  NEEMO School 1 featured 10 keynote lectures and a Stakeholders’ discussion on the 16th of March 2021. Hon. Dr Owen Bonnici, Minister for Research, Innovation and the Co-ordination of Post Covid-19 Strategy, gave a Welcome Note while Hon.
