Corporate e-Mobility
Within this presentation novel concepts for corporate mobility solutions will be presented. While conventional corporate mobility often only includes one-to-one assigned company cars for employees in high hierarchical positions, the aim of tomorrow’s mobility solutions should be to provide mobility to all employees. Based on the outcomes of a recent Austrian lighthouse research project, mobility modules will be presented which consist of hardware and software solutions as well as accompanying (soft) measures. The integration of “alternative” modes of transportation (Eg.bike, walking and public transport) is one key concept guaranteeing an (economic and ecologic) sustainable mobility approach.

Dr. Matthias Prandtstetter studied computer science at the Vienna University of Technology (MSc in 2005, Ph.D. in 2010). In addition, he finished a course on informatics management (Master’s degree from VUT in 2007). From 2006 until 2010 Prandtstetter worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Computer Graphics and Algorithms at VUT. Since 2010 he has been part of the Dynamic Transportation Systems team of AIT Mobility. Since 2015, he is leading the group focusing on transport optimization and logistics in combination with traffic information. In addition, he is since 2016 working as Senior Scientist and Thematic Coordinator on this topic. Prandtstetter is a certified project manager and author of numerous publications. In addition, he works as a reviewer for a multitude of high-quality scientific journals. Since 2016, Prandtstetter is chairman of LRA – Logistics Research Austria.
