Participate as Andriod Mobile User
We invite especially from Malta and Cyprus commuters to enrol through a survey and data collection using AIT SmartSurvey which may be downloaded from here and installed on your Andriod phone.  The Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) is a partner within NEEMO and data will only be shared as masked and back to you in terms of mode of transport and journeys.  A Consent Form for the project filled individually may still be required.  Please fill in this consent at the earliest.  The following are the Survey Name ‘neemo’ and one of the following User IDs may be used ‘neemo31’ ‘neemo32’ ‘neemo33’ ‘neemo34’ ‘neemo35’  ‘neemo36’ ‘neemo37’ ‘neemo38’ ‘neemo39’ ‘neemo40’ and select your password.  You may view your trips and your transport mode detected plus making editing to your trips on https://neemo.smart-survey.at/neemo/web/data/trips

Participate with a GPS Data Tracker
We have a number of GPS Data Trackers provided by our partner The Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT). We are conducting a number of surveys on driving habits in the Maltese Islands. We, therefore, invite you to register using our Consent Form and we will be in touch during 2021 through your contacts provided.

Green Trips brings together the current solutions, research and initiatives in sustainable mobility. Most of all, the platform will involve everyone who wishes to leave feedback including citizens and mobility operators to start discussions for a better tomorrow.

The CIVITAS DESTINATIONS project is a 4-year project funded by the Horizon2020 programme of the European Union. The project consortium consists of 7 highly touristic insular cities in six European islands (Funchal in Madeira, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Valletta in Malta, Portoferraio and Rio Marina in Elba, Rethymno in Crete and Limassol in Cyprus) representing partners from 9 EU member states and has established links with China, the fastest growing outbound tourism market in the world.

CIVITAS is a network of cities for cities dedicated to cleaner, better transport in Europe and beyond.  Since it was launched by the European Commission in 2002, the CIVITAS Initiative has tested and implemented over 800 measures and urban transport solutions as part of demonstration projects in more than 80 Living Lab cities Europe-wide.
The knowledge garnered through these practical experiences is complemented, and supported, by a number of research and innovation projects (ECCENTRIC, PORTIS and DESTINATIONS), also run under CIVITAS. These research projects look at ways of building a more resource efficient and competitive transport system in Europe.
CIVITAS offers practitioners opportunities to see innovative transport solutions being developed and deployed first-hand, and learn from peers and experts working in the field. CIVITAS nurtures political commitment, new marketable solutions, and offers funding and knowledge exchange with a view to creating growth and better connected, more sustainable transport modes.
The project works on 10 thematic areas, related to sustainable transport mobility covering: Car-Independent Lifestyles, Clean Fuels & Vehicles, Collective Passenger Transport, Demand Management Strategies, Integrated Planning, Mobility Management, Public Involvement, Safety & Security, Transport Telematics, Urban Freight Logistics.
