Public Lectures

The NEEMO Public Lecture series is organised in collaboration with the Malta Group of Professional Engineering Institutions and The Chamber of Engineers. The event will be hosted within one of the venues offered by one of our collaborators or at MCAST main campus.

Please note that the events are live-streamed on NEEMO Facebook Page and recorded.

We would like to invite you to the first public lecture during the NEEMO (Networking for Excellence in Electric Mobility Operations) launch during the 9th of January at 10:00 New Block N Foyer MCAST Institute of Engineering and Transport. Please note that the public lecture follows a press conference at 9:00 and is then followed by stakeholders introduction and discussion and lunch.  The public, staff and students are invited to all public event launch starting at 9:00.

Corporate e-Mobility
Within this presentation novel concepts for corporate mobility solutions will be presented. While conventional corporate mobility often only includes one-to-one assigned company cars for employees in high hierarchical positions, the aim of tomorrow’s mobility solutions should be to provide mobility to all employees. Based on the outcomes of a recent Austrian lighthouse research project, mobility modules will be presented which consist of hardware and software solutions as well as accompanying (soft) measures. The integration of “alternative” modes of transportation (Eg.bike, walking and public transport) is one key concept guaranteeing an (economic and ecologic) sustainable mobility approach.
